Grieving people want and need to be heard, not fixed.  These myths can keep grieving people feeling misunderstood and trapped in a cycle of despair, stagnation, and depression.

Although there are no stages or feelings that every single griever experiences there are some common symptoms of grief.

It’s an 8-week action-based group that involves reading and writing assignments outlined in "The Grief Recovery Handbook", – 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition.

Even when they are unhealthy, dangerous, or even cruel. To let go of the past you must also let go of the future and live in the present.

Can I just do one session? Good question! It’s not a drop in group. The action program is 8 different sessions leading towards Grief Recovery. The 8-week group format meets in January, February and March from 7:00-9:00 PM at be+well in Encinitas.
